SALT LAKE CITY — U.S. Highway 6 reopened Tuesday evening following a two-day closure prompted by the nearby Coal Hollow Fire.
The wildfire has consumed over 24,000 acres in southeast Utah County, and state fire officials say containment on Tuesday afternoon was just 2 percent.
A public meeting will be held in Spanish Fork Wednesday to update residents about the fire and area closures.
