AURORA, Colo. — A group of kids in Colorado are receiving national attention for a good deed they completed earlier this month.
In a video posted to Facebook, three kids are seen approaching a front door in Aurora, Colorado. When they get to the door, a recording plays saying that no one is available to come to the door, but the surveillance video is recording and they can leave a message. One of the kids responds, explaining that they found a wallet outside a car and they wanted to bring it back to its owner so no one would take any of the money.
The kids then look for a safe place to store the wallet and head off along their way on their bikes. It's a simple moment, but one that's making a big impression.
The person who posted the video said this happened on July 18, and since then, the video has been picked up by several local and national news outlets. According to CBS Denver, the wallet even had $700 in it, but that didn't stop the kids from doing the right thing.
