THE FRIENDLY SKIES — It was at my older brother's little league baseball game on the fiberglass bleachers that gave you weird slivers where I learned how to fold a paper airplane.
This moment changed my entire life. From then on, if I had a piece of paper, I was folding it into an airplane shape in preparation of it taking flight. I love paper airplanes and throwing them from great heights. Whenever I'm on some kind of precipice I think to myself, "If I had a paper airplane it'd fly for miles." I never seem to have one.
It must be my love of flying origami that makes me love this video.
YouTube channel The Q posted this video showing how to construct a giant paper airplane. OK, it's not really paper, but rather polystyrene, but it's modeled after the paper airplanes we love.
Yesterday's Have You Seen This?
It's fun to watch him put together the plane and even better to watch it take flight. I just want him on top of a building now so I can watch that thing soar.
Enjoy the video, then get out there and start making paper airplanes and have the time of your life feeling like you're 9 again for just a brief moment.
