Officials locate loose snake in Nephi after 2-hour search

NEPHI — A snake on the loose has been located, officials report.

Earlier Wednesday, a 7.5-foot red tail boa constrictor was reported to be loose near 800 N. 100 East, according to the Juab County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities warned people with small children and animals to be cautious while they searched for the snake.

Officials confirmed the snake had been located shortly after 8 p.m.
