OGDEN — A man in his mid-20s has died after being shot in Ogden, police said.
The shooting took place about 4:30 p.m. near the 600 block of 23rd Street, Ogden police officials said in an emailed statement.
The man, who was not identified, was in critical condition after being shot, police said. He was taken to an Ogden hospital where he later died from his injuries, police said.
Police were still searching for people involved in the shooting. The shooting appeared to be between acquaintances, police said. It was an isolated incident, and there is no threat to the public, police added.
No other details about the shooting were immediately available.
