ALMOST THERE — It’s nearly May, which means the NBA playoffs are in full swing, the baseball thrills are just getting started, and soccer fans still have no idea exactly how Major League Soccer’s target-allocation money works.

But with that in mind, let’s take a look at our Great Clips of the Week, where a Jazz fan made himself — or his voice, at least — a household name, the A’s didn’t something truly monumental that didn’t involve “Moneyball,” and Central Florida’s claimed national football title just got real.

Jazz fan 🔥🔥🔥

In case you haven’t heard (and were likely living underneath a rock with no access to television, the internet or a casual passerby all weekend), the Utah Jazz took a 2-1 series lead on Oklahoma City with a 115-102 win Saturday night at Vivint Arena.

OKC star Russell Westbrook had 14 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists in the loss, and clearly didn’t look like his usual triple-double self, either.

Which means the crowd worked.

Kudos to the Jazz fan, who (correctly?) labeled Westbrook what many in the building were thinking, and also produced the most Utah insult in NBA history Saturday night.

Stopping the hottest team in baseball

We have our first no-hitter of the Major League Baseball season.

Oakland left-hander Sean Manaea is the name, and he struck out 10 batters with two walks over nine innings during a 3-0 win over Boston.

Manaea is the 12th pitcher in Athletics history to toss a no-no, and the first to no-hit the Red Sox in nearly 25 years.

Hands' off

Real Salt Lake's 3-0 win over Rocky Mountain rival Colorado came courtesy of three goals scored in the final 15 minutes of play Saturday night at Rio Tinto Stadium.

Rapids goalkeeper Tim Howard also had a handball in the 20th minute of the match that probably affected it, too.

We thought so, at least, so we decided to commemorate the former U.S. international 'keeper's handball blunder with a special soundtrack.

There can only be one … sometimes

Usually one college football team in America is celebrating a national championship by May of the following year.

But 2017 was so great, we got two national champions.

Alabama was the College Football Playoff national champion, but Central Florida unveiled its own claimed title — with rings, banner and the works — to the public Saturday in a special ceremony in Orlando.

The Knights were the only undefeated team in the country, and boasted wins over (officially) Power-5 school Maryland, the entire American Athletic Conference, and a 34-27 victory over Auburn in the Peach Bowl on New Year’s Day.

Haters will hate, but the title is probably as legitimate as half the 19 titles the Crimson Tide claim — eight of them coming before 1970.
