DUCKTALES — One time I was driving down Canyon Road in Pleasant Grove when I had to slam on the brakes.

Out of nowhere, a mother chicken and about six chicks casually sauntered onto the road in a line as if they were on their way to school and had just arrived at the chicken crosswalk. It was a very dramatic experience.

As I patiently waited for these chickens to cross the road, a line of cars filled in behind me. It took mama chicken and her baby chicks just a few minutes to traverse the road, but nevertheless, a veritable traffic jam had formed during that time.

Unfortunately, I do not have any footage of this event, so you will just have to trust me when I say it happened. Fortunately, I do have footage of a similar, but much cooler event, in the form of this YouTube video.

Yesterday's Have You Seen This?

The cooler event also involves a bit of a traffic jam caused by animals crossing the road, but in this video, it's ducks. Lots of ducks. Probably more ducks than you are expecting to see, and almost definitely more than you've ever seen in one place in your life.

When I found this video I was expecting to see just a few ducks crossing the road. Then my jaw literally dropped when I clicked play and saw what appears to be thousands of ducks. It's just basically a never-ending stream of ducks. Sort of like this elk video from last week, but with ducks.

Enjoy the video, and next time you're stuck behind tons of cars in a huge traffic jam and you can't see what's causing it, just think, it could be ducks.
