SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Jazz point guard situation got a bit murkier on Monday.

Jazz backup point guard Raul Neto suffered a fractured left wrist in the second quarter of the Jazz's game against the New Orleans Pelicans Sunday afternoon. He'll be re-evaluated in two weeks, according to the Jazz.

Here's the play on which the injury likely occurred.

Neto had one key stretch where he was three for three in the game yesterday. On the last basket, he took a hard fall. The Jazz say the injury was suffered in the game, although they don't specifically say which play. pic.twitter.com/guVAQ4IeN2 — Kyle Goon (@kylegoon) March 12, 2018

Neto played well before falling, scoring six points in only 4:33 on the floor. He averaged 4.6 points and 1.8 assists in 12 minutes per game this season as the Jazz's leading backup point guard.

Neto's absence puts more of a spotlight on the return of Dante Exum, who is slated to return in mid-to-late March, according to Jazz general manager Dennis Lindsey. Exum has returned to contact practice, though has largely been playing with the end of the Jazz's roster. He hasn't yet participated in a five-on-five practice in a contact situation, though.
