CHICAGO — The Jazz traveled to Chicago on Tuesday afternoon ahead of their matchup with the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday. Here are some notes on what's going on around the team.

Injury report

A massive update to the Jazz's injury report was released on Tuesday afternoon. Here are the details:

Rodney Hood will play against Chicago on Wednesday after missing the last seven games due to left ankle soreness. Hood scored 19 points in the Jazz's last matchup with Chicago on Nov. 22.

Joe Johnson is questionable to play due to his wrist tendon instability, but that's an upgrade over his previous status. He's already missed the last 20 games. Both Hood and Johnson participated in parts of the Jazz's practice on Monday.

Raul Neto is doubtful to play, still apparently experiencing symptoms from the concussion he suffered against the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday night. His return will be based on the league's concussion protocol.

Jonas Jerebko has picked up an illness, but he is still probable to play on Wednesday.

Dante Exum, of course, is out. That being said, we saw Exum out of his shoulder sling at Monday's practice casually throwing up one-handed shots with his good arm. He won't return anytime soon, but that he's traveling and still involved with the team is a good sign that he could return this season.

Tony Bradley, Eric Griffin and Nate Wolters are staying with the Salt Lake City Stars.

Ekpe Udoh book club

Since his time in Milwaukee, Ekpe Udoh has held regular discussions on different books with fans on Twitter under the hashtag #EkpesBookClub. But now he's starting to host in-person meetings with fans.

> Big fan of READING. Great discussion last night at [\#Ekpesbookclub](https://twitter.com/hashtag/Ekpesbookclub?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc^tfw) on novel "Little Fires Everywhere" by Celeste Ng [@pronounced\_ing](https://twitter.com/pronounced_ing?ref_src=twsrc^tfw). More to come later this month digitally and in person. "If I can play in the [@NBA](https://twitter.com/NBA?ref_src=twsrc^tfw) and still find time to read -- so can you!" -- [@EkpeUdoh](https://twitter.com/EkpeUdoh?ref_src=twsrc^tfw) [@nbacares](https://twitter.com/nbacares?ref_src=twsrc^tfw) [pic.twitter.com/to1pTK3NYh](https://t.co/to1pTK3NYh) > > — Utah Jazz Doing Good (@JazzDoingGood) [December 12, 2017](https://twitter.com/JazzDoingGood/status/940590626906587139?ref_src=twsrc^tfw)

This month's book is "Little Fires Everywhere" by Celeste Ng, and participants were told to come to Monday's meeting with the first 106 pages read. Udoh will host two more meetings, one on Twitter and one in person once the team returns to Salt Lake City.

Children's hospital visits

Jazz players and coaches visited children at Primary Children's Hospital and Shriners Hospital for Children on Monday afternoon.

> Nothin' better than having the .[@utahjazz](https://twitter.com/utahjazz?ref_src=twsrc^tfw) visit 😎 Thanks to the ownership, coaches, players, dancers, and of course, Jazz Bear, for making this holiday season a little bit brighter for patients and families! I was able to attend this last year, and it really was cool how many smiles the Jazz were able to put on kids' faces.
