Police identify man killed in Ogden shooting

OGDEN — Police on Thursday identified a man who died after he was shot in the head last week.

Brian Housley, 28, of Ogden, died at a hospital from injuries on Nov. 30, Ogden Police Lt. Tim Scott said. Scott said Housley was shot in the head in the early hours of Nov. 27.

Police responded to a report of a shooting in the 900 block of 16th Street shortly after 2 a.m. Nov. 27, Scott said, where they located Housley. He was taken to a hospital in critical condition at the time.

Scott said no arrests have been made in relation the shooting death, though some other arrests were made in connection with a series of shootings in the area last week. The shooting on Nov. 27 was one of three in the same area in a 48-hour span.

Scott declined to release any information of possible suspects or persons of interest in the case.
