BRIGHAM CITY — An 89-year-old Brigham City man missing since Oct. 11 was found dead Sunday night, the Brigham City Police Department said.

Floyd Kling left his home in Brigham City around 6 p.m. Oct. 11, according to Brigham City Police Administrative Lt. James Crapse. Kling has dementia and may have become lost and disoriented, Crapse said.

He was found dead four days later.

"It's with heavy hearts that the search for Floyd Kling has come to an end," the Brigham City Police Department said in a post on Facebook. "We here at Brigham P.D., along with Mr. Kling's family, express our gratitude for all of your support at getting his information out there near and far, along with all those who actively searched for him. We live in such an amazing and caring community. We express our heartfelt condolences to the Kling family."

Police did not immediately release details on where or how Kling was found. It is also still unknown how Kling died.
