THE SALON — This video gives a whole new meaning to the term "hat hair."
Self-described Russian "hair artist" Georgiy Kot has been mesmerizing the internet with his unbelievably intricate designs for a while. This particular style was posted almost two years ago, but it remains a must-see.
In the clip, Kot masterfully styles a woman's hair into an eccentric hat. It's a little weird and definitely only a style you'd want to try out for Crazy Hair Day, but it's also incredibly cool to watch.
And that's not all Kot has done. His Instagram is filled with thousands of other unusual and intricate styles that are best described as art. Some of his more recent masterpieces include styles that look like flowers, styles that seem to defy gravity and well, whatever you want to describe these styles as.
While scrolling through his Instagram, I was blown away by the amount of talent Kot has. Styling hair is not easy, and I'm guessing getting to this level required many years of practice. If you're looking for a distraction from work this afternoon, I'd definitely recommend falling down the rabbit hole of his fascinating hairstyling videos. There is no shortage of styles to impress you.
