MALT SHOP — Learning to talk seems difficult.
Most of us (I imagine) don't remember it because it happens so early. Think of all the major developmental milestones we hit as little ones: talking, walking, fine motor skills, how to scream to get what we want. Now we complain when we have to learn a new email interface at work.
One such learning moment (talking, not the email thing) was caught on video and the internet loves it.
Little Delta is buckled in her car seat when dad decides to film and upload a glitch in the common call-and-response speech toddlers do. See, she is able to mimic every word dad says except "ice cream," for some reason. It comes out more like "Cam Turner."

It's almost ski season and if this video doesn't get you excited to race down the slopes, I don't know what will.She's able to say "ice" and "cream" individually, but when dad asks her to say it as a pairing, it gets garbled in her brain and comes out differently, but we're not complaining. It's adorable, and now I need some ice cream.
