SALT LAKE CITY — Officials are asking for the public's help in locating two people after shots were fired in a road rage incident on Friday.
The Utah Department of Public safety issued a statement Saturday that described a road rage incident at “approximately 5 p.m.,” on Friday. They say a mid-sized, dark colored sedan or SUV, “occupied by a Polynesian or African American male driver and a Caucasian female passenger” fired shots at and hit another vehicle.
The location of the shooting was westbound on I-80 close to the I-215 northbound on-ramp according to the statement.
The State Bureau of Investigation asks for the public's help in locating the people for questioning. They ask that those with any information call 801-887-3800.
