ON THE SLIDE — As kids, we’re all terrified of something. Whether it’s the dark, the “boogie man,” or the monster underneath the bed, there are things that, as kids, just frankly freak us out.

Insects and animals can also be on the scary list for kids. Reptiles like lizards and snakes can be a bit frightening for kids. Amphibians like frogs can do be scary as well. For one little boy on a slide, his utter shock when a frog is on his arm sends the tears flowing — and mom tries to help.

Keyword: tries.

In this video, we see a little boy yelling and crying. As mom moves closer after asking what’s wrong, we see that a frog has landed on the boy’s left arm.

The little guy is scared as he’s certainly never been around a slimy frog.

“Why did you poke the frog?” mom asks the boy.

Meanwhile, the boy can do nothing but cry as the frog is just chilling on his arm.

“But it’s just a frog,” mom tells her son.

OK, that’s enough, right? It’s time to get the frog out of the boy’s arm so he can stop crying and not be scared. It’s time for mom to grab the frog and put it back on the ground.

Mom decides to flick the frog off of her son’s arm.

What ends up happening is a parent fail of epic proportions.

Wait for it.

Wow! That kid is gonna need a week’s supply of ice cream to make up for mom’s flick fail.

Let this be a lesson to you, parents. Don’t try to flick away any frogs, bugs or anything else from your kid’s arm, head or legs. Remember, you might think it’s cute and decide to record it, but it might come back to bite you if (or when) you pull a parent fail.
