SALT LAKE CITY — Coming off a blowout win on the road against Oregon State, Utah moved up in the national rankings Sunday.

The Utes moved up to No. 13 in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll, up two spots from No. 15 last week, and to No. 14 in the USA Today Coaches Poll, up one spot from last week.

Utah got some help in the rankings after three teams above them lost over the weekend, including then-No. 3 Georgia, No. 7 Florida and No. 11 Texas; however, voters kept Florida (No. 9) and Georgia (No. 10) ahead of the Utes this week.

Utah remains the highest-ranked team in the Pac-12’s South Division and one of four teams from the Pac-12 ranked this week. Oregon, which claimed a 45-3 win over Colorado Friday, continues to lead the conference as the highest-ranked team at No. 12 in both polls.

The remaining Pac-12 teams ranked this week include No. 17 Arizona State and No. 25 Washington. The Huskies are ranked No. 23 in the Coaches Poll. California, which had a bye week, and USC, which lost to Notre Dame, received votes in the coaches poll this week.

Voters moved LSU up to No. 2 after a dominant 42-28 win over Florida Saturday, while Georgia dropped out after a double overtime loss to South Carolina.

Alabama remains the No. 1 team in the country for the third-straight week. The Crimson Tide are followed in the rankings by No. 2 LSU, No. 3 Clemson, No. 4 Ohio State and No. 5 Oklahoma. The Coaches Poll has Clemson at No. 2, LSU at No. 3.

The upcoming week of football features three games where both opponents are ranked, including No. 13 Utah welcoming No. 17 Arizona State to Rice-Eccles Stadium. Other games include No. 7 Penn State vs. No. 16 Michigan, and No. 12 Oregon vs. No. 25 Washington.
