DREAMLAND — Have you ever wanted to see a congregation of collegiate football players get hypnotized and go wild?
The idea never crossed my mind, but today I feel blessed it has crossed someone else’s.
The University of Texas football team enjoyed a much-needed night out with hypnotist Jonathan Yeager, and the results speak for themselves.
Had some hypnotic fun yesterday! 🤘#ThisIsTexas#HookEmpic.twitter.com/z1SJcnJFih

It does not matter how phenomenal of an athlete you are in stadiums, how many pounds you can bench press, or how many miles you can run: a hypnotist can still turn you into a sluggish, twitching couch potato glued to a chair.
I don’t need a hypnotist to make me an immobile lazybones, but I can appreciate the accomplishment on someone else.
It doesn’t matter how awake and alert you try to be in public, a hypnotist will expose the exhaustion hidden in your soul and force you into public beauty rest. And it does not matter how composed, polite, or quiet you seem, a hypnotist can still leave you livid at the sound of a “thank you.”
This player’s outraged expressions at the phrase are beyond hilarious.
I’m pretty sure this is my exact face when strangers start talking to me in public.
It’s important to remember that sometimes our seriousness, talents and successes are worth putting aside for a good joke at our own expense. All of the trophies in the world are not worth as much as seeing good friends have fun.
At least, that’s what I’m getting from the other players’ raucous laughter.
