SALT LAKE CITY — Even with the SLC Summer League wrapped up and the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas approaching its climax, basketball never stops.
Not even in late July, for fans of The Basketball Tournament.
Opening day got a little bit closer Tuesday, with the unveiling of every team's new uniform, including from the Jimmer Fredette-led Team Fredette, the Utes' Team Utah, and Utah State's Stallions alumni squad.
Team Fredette's uniforms feature a deeper shade of navy blue to BYU’s iconic brand, with white trim and a script F on the front for the team’s namesake.

The squad’s namesake isn’t eligible to play in TBT due to his contract with the Phoenix Suns and brief stint with the Warriors in NBA Summer League play. But former BYU star and all-time leading scorer Tyler Haws is on the roster, along with returning veterans Jordon Crawford and Ra'Shad James, among others.
Former BYU coach Dave Rose will act as head coach for Team Fredette, with Wasatch Academy's Paul Peterson and Jimmer himself acting as assistant coaches.
Team Utah, which includes former Ute stars like Lawrence Borha, Tim Drisdom, Dakarai Tucker and Utah Valley's Ronnie Price, will also open the tournament in the Salt Lake Regional. Their uniforms are classic Utah crimson, with a black stripe and four stars above "Team Utah" across the chest.
The Utah Stallions, a team comprised primarily of Utah State alumni including Spencer Butterfield and Sean Harris, also unveiled their Aggie-based white uniforms with gray patterned trim and a light blue "Utah Stallions" script across the chest.
The $2 million, winner-take-all tournament tips off July 25 at Maverik Center in West Valley City. Eighth-seeded Team Utah opens the regional against top-seed Eberlein Drive, last year's national runner-up, at 3 p.m. MDT, with Team Fredette in the nightcap at approximately 8:30 p.m. MDT.
