ON THE INTERNET — This is March.
It’s the time of year when spring is in the air, rain showers are making way for May flowers, and one thing is on everybody’s mind.
Spiderman.
And also, basketball.
But before turning the page to the opening round of the NCAA Tournament, let’s take a look back at the weekend, where a former Utah coach got ejected for doing the same thing as his NBA counterpart, a Utah State player deserved a SportsCenter mention, and a Salt Lake police officer wowed the crowd before a game in the Alliance of American Football.
As always, click the video above for all of the Great Clips of the Week.
Did you just?
You know that meme where Spiderman is confusedly pointing at Doppelganger Spiderman that’s been going around the internet?
Chicago Bulls coach Jim Boylen had that experience last Friday.
The former Utah coach was ejected during the Bulls’ 128-121 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers — for doing the exact same thing as his counterpart, Doc Rivers.
The two were ejected after arguing with each other at the scorer's table in the third quarter when Clippers forward Montrezl Harrell was called for an illegal screen.
Boylen allegedly called the Clips “dirty” for setting those screens.
“Maybe you should turn to your players and tell them to call out screens,” Rivers said in response. “Don’t yell at me.
“But I didn’t say it that nicely,” he added. “I don’t ever talk to the other coach unless the coach talks to me.”
Now that’s patriotism
In case you missed it, the Salt Lake Stallions won their second game of the inaugural season of the Alliance of American Football with a 22-9 victory over the Memphis Express on Saturday.
But the best moment of the game came before kickoff.
That’s when Salt Lake police officer Miles Knapp belted a breathtaking rendition of the national anthem, one that sent the announced crowd of just over 8,000 people at Rice-Eccles Stadium to a roar.
Thanks to Salt Lake City Police Chief Mike Brown for capturing the moment.
Failed burrito
Diogo Brito had several key moments in helping lead Utah State to a Mountain West tournament title and the Aggies’ first NCAA Tournament bid since 2011 over the weekend.
But the Portugal native also had one moment that deserves to be on SportsCenter’s … NOT Top 10, Utah State leading scorer Sam Merrill joked.
Utah State's Diogo Brito should be on SportsCenter's (Not) Top 10 ....

Still champs in our book, though.

In Brito’s defense, he also had himself a game in the Aggies’ semifinal win over Fresno State, finishing off a perfect pass from Justin Bean during Utah State’s fast start.
