SARAJEVO, Bosnia-Herzegovina (AP) — Bosnian prosecutors say the remains of at least six people have been unearthed from a mass grave in eastern Bosnia.

They said in a statement on Friday that the people buried in the grave most likely were Muslims from the area around the town of Visegrad who were killed during the 1992-95 war in Bosnia.

The remains have not yet been identified.

The Bosnian prosecutor's office says the mass grave is located in a remote, hard to access area. It says prosecutors learned about the grave during an ongoing investigation.

No other details were immediately available.

More than 100,000 people died in the Bosnian War and many more were left homeless. More than 6,000 people are still listed as missing.
