BENSON, Cache County — A man was found dead in a Cache County irrigation pipe early Monday morning, officials said.
The man's neighbor found him stuck face down in the pipe, which was about 2 feet in diameter, according to Cache County Sheriff Chad Jensen. The neighbor was able to pull the man out and call 911, and deputies performed CPR when they arrived.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, Jensen said.
It is still unknown how long the man was in the pipe or how he got there. An investigation is ongoing. Authorities have not yet released the man's name.
