WEST JORDAN — A woman suffered serious injuries after being ejected from her car on Mountain View Corridor, police said.

The crash took place about 1:45 p.m. at the intersection of Mountain View Corridor and Old Bingham Highway, according to West Jordan Police Sgt. Dan Roberts.

A sedan that was heading east on Old Bingham Highway ran a red light and hit a small SUV that was southbound on Mountain View Corridor, Roberts said.

The woman who was driving the sedan was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected, Roberts said. She was transported to a hospital in serious condition, he added.

The man and woman who were in the SUV were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, Roberts said. He did not know the names or ages of any of the people involved in the crash.

No other information about the crash was immediately available.
