SALT LAKE CITY — Hours before the Wasatch Front was hit by the biggest snowstorm of the year so far, skies were clear enough in many areas for Utahns to view a spectacular lunar event.

The moon turned red Sunday night during the only total lunar eclipse of 2019. Utahns who were able to view it snapped photos of the rare super blood wolf moon. And the next day, snow covered seemingly everything in sight.

Browse through our gallery to see photos of both the snow and the eclipse. If you see any cool Utah sights that you want to snap a photo of, send your pics our way and we'll feature them on KSL.com.
