BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Police in eastern Idaho say they've arrested a suspect after finding the bodies of a woman and two dogs that had been stabbed to death.
Idaho Falls police said they went to the home of 33-year-old Kaylynn Blue on Monday after friends called to report she hadn't shown up at work.
Idaho Falls Police Department Chief Bryce Johnson said the responding officers were talking to Blue's boyfriend at the home when they noticed blood in the house and began a search. Police say they found Blue's remains buried in a shallow grave in a flower bed in her backyard, and the bodies of two dogs in the garage. All three appeared to have been stabbed to death.
Police have arrested 33-year-old Philip Schwab in connection with the case.
