FAMILY LAND — Five days a week, John Carter heads to the gym at 8 p.m. to workout and dive off a 10-foot diving board.

"Nobody at 90 years old is diving off with me," Carter said. "And I am having a marvelous time."

Yes, Carter is a 90-year-old grandpa living in British Columbia, Canada. But he hasn't let his age — or anything else — slow him down. According to Carter himself, he's the "most extreme grandpa on the planet," a title he holds proudly, as you'll see in this video.

The video from Devin Graham is a look at Carter's life at 90 years old, and it probably doesn't look much like the life you'd expect a 90-year-old to be living.

Carter wakes up every day, often at 5 a.m. and puts on his walking shoes. He loves biking, sprinting, fishing, his church, spending time with his family and, of course, diving. And he's pretty sure he'll live to see 100.

"At 90, I am really doing very well. The way I'm going, I have no doubt I'm gonna go beyond 100, and I plan on bein' there," he said in the video.

Carter's positive attitude is infectious and will absolutely bring a smile to your face. And as Graham points out at the end of the video, if you want to follow Carter, all you have to do is live a positive life.

"I don't think I have any regrets," Carter says about his life. "Life was great."

So if you need some motivation to get out and be active, or if you need a little inspiration to look on the positive side of things, watch the video. Chances are you won't be able to get to the end without a little bit of a brighter outlook on life.
