OGDEN — Ogden’s seventh annual Restaurant Week is just around the corner, and the city has seen no shortage of quality local restaurants to choose from.

The event is meant as a way to garner support for local restaurants and “highlight the numerous and diverse dining options in the city,” according to the Ogden Restaurant week website.

For a very affordable price, you can get a taste of 21 of the city’s finest local and independently owned restaurants while you explore what downtown Ogden has to offer.

The 10-day event will take place from April 4-13. Participating restaurants will be offering a fixed two-course lunch for $10 and three-course dinner for $17.

There will quite a range of options to match your cravings. Here is a list of the restaurants participating this year:

If you're looking for rustic Italian fare:

Zucca Trattoria

This Historic 25th St. restaurant dishes out authentic Italian food and uses sustainable, local and organic ingredients. It’s located at 225 25th St. You can find their Restaurant week menu here.

Rovali’s Ristorante Italiano

This is another cozy local Italian restaurant on Historic 25th St. and it’s family-owned and operated. They make their own desserts from scratch and have a full-service espresso bar. They’re located at 174 25th St. You can find their Restaurant Week menus here.

If you love variety and classic American dishes:

Hearth on 25th

This classy and stylish restaurant specializes in locally-sourced wood-fired wild game, house-made fresh pastas, breads and sauces. They also make their own cheeses and import premium olive oil. They are located at 195 25th St. Suite 6. You can find their Restaurant Week menus here.

Harley and Buck’s Restaurant

This restaurant offers modern, elevated American dishes. They are known for their smoked prime rib and oysters. You can see their Restaurant Week menus here. They are located at 2432 Washington Blvd.

Prairie Schooner Steakhouse

At this Ogden restaurant, it’s just as much about the ambiance as it is the food. Here, you can feel like one of the early American pioneers and eat hand-cut steak and fresh seafood in a cozy covered wagon. They are located at 445 Park Blvd. You can find their Restaurant Week menus here.

Roosters Brewing Co.

This restaurant offers modern classic American cuisine. They are well-known for their in-house brews. You will find everything from tacos and burgers to pastas, enchiladas and salmon here. They are located at 253 25th St. You can see their Restaurant Week menus here.

Warrens Craft Burger

This restaurant features an eclectic menu of half-pound gourmet burgers with signature craft cheeses and sauces. One of their more unique burgers is called the “Prohibition burger,” with bleu cheese crumble, truffle aioli and bacon maple jam. Union Grill

This restaurant offers classic American cuisine and describes itself as “uniquely Ogden” on its website. It has a very diverse menu featuring pasta dishes, smoked ribs and burgers made from all-natural Logan River Ranch beef. The Angry Goat Pub and Kitchen

This is an American pub that serves a simple made-from-scratch menu. They have burgers, salads, soups and sandwiches and a ton of locally-sourced brews. They are located at 2570 Washington Blvd. You can see their Restaurant Week menus here.

Harp and Hound

Lighthouse Lounge

If you're a fan of a melty Philly cheesesteak:

Pepito's Philly Cheese Steak

This place is described as a “family-friendly sports bar atmosphere” on its website. It specializes in the classic Philly cheesesteak sandwich with fresh cut ribeye and traditional Amoroso rolls. If you crave some comforting barbecue food:

Smokey’s BBQ and Grill

If you love authentic barbecue cuisine in all of its comfort food glory, this is a perfect place for it. This restaurant features a secret family sauce recipe and “low and slow” cooked barbecue. Sonora Grill

Bangkok Garden Thai Cuisine

This restaurant serves up delicious and authentic Thai, Chinese and Vietnamese cuisine. They include pho, curries, and stir-frys on their menu. This restaurant specializes in authentic Thai curry dishes and features their own homemade curry pastes. They describe curries as “filling, simple and sustaining” on their website. New Sun Restaurant

Tona Sushi Bar and Grill

This Japanese restaurant offers a sleek, modern ambiance, and fresh sushi made from seafood around the world and locally-sourced seasonal ingredients. Slackwater Pub and Pizzeria

This restaurant has a nice location right next to the Ogden River and offers unique and flavorful pizzas, sandwiches, soups, and salads.
